C-MAP® Updates Cartography for the Asia Pacific Region

Viareggio, Italy (June, 2024) – C-MAP, a leader in digital marine cartography and cloud-based mapping, today announced an update to its Asia Pacific (APAC) charts. These updates include updated information on marinas and port plans, Notice to Mariners (NTMs), latest ENC, and paper charts from official sources and apply to all charts including 4D, DISCOVER ™, REVEAL ™ and X Gen charts within the APAC portfolio.

“We are excited to roll out this new update to our C-MAP users in APAC,” said Jakob Svensson, C-MAP Product Manager. “Our cartography team is dedicated to sourcing new data and continually enhancing and improving our charts over time.”

The new data also includes improved High-Resolution Bathymetry and Shaded Relief for customers who use Reveal or Reveal X charts, specifically in the waters off New Plymouth, New Zealand. These updates are available now and are free for anyone who has purchased a C-MAP chart within 12 months and registered their card. The new charts are available to purchase now, and you can view the latest DISCOVER, REVEAL, and X charts data online at c-map.com/chartexplorer.
