Viareggio, Italy (February 26, 2024) – C-MAP®, a leader in digital marine cartography and cloud-based mapping, today announced a second major update to its North America charts, introducing detailed data for hundreds of lakes with improved High-Resolution Bathymetry and enhanced Shaded Relief.

The new data includes updates to 247 lakes across 26 states, including all new coverage for Occoquan Reservoir & Tygart Lake in Virginia, as well as Lake Texoma, Lake Palestine and Sam Rayburn Reservoir in Texas.
Updates for North America Charts

- Improved Shaded Relief for C-MAP REVEAL™ and REVEAL X across 247 lakes across 26 states including Florida, Massachusetts, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

- High-Resolution Bathymetry updates for Lake and Coastal areas CMAP DISCOVER™, REVEAL and X Charts.
The new data improves the DISCOVER, REVEAL and X Generation charts from C-MAP and is available to download for free for anyone who has purchased a chart in the past year and subscribed to C-MAP. You can view the latest charts for your location online at c-map.com/chartexplorer.
